Technology can help get something done. This has been a common theme in my 30-year consulting career, whether it be preventing terrorist attacks, mitigating flood risk, making it easier for students to apply for loans, or combatting human trafficking.

I've spent my whole adult life helping organizations (companies, government agencies, and non-profits) use technology to accomplish their missions. I have found at the end of the day it is about people and culture and leadership, much more than the actual technology. Technology brings about change.
